The King Of Pain And Pleasure   
In the pale and misty evening  
when the savage day is dying  
and your eyes are dim with crying  
there's a voice that calls your name.  
Then the moonlight stains your pillow  
and you know that you must follow  
when you feel his spell upon you  
and your body turns to flame,  
for his skin is cream and honey  
and his mouth is pomegranate  
and the King of Pain and Pleasure is his name.  
 
Ah, his voice is soft as snowfall  
and his eyes are deep as oceans  
and a silver bird lays sleeping  
in his black and tangled hair.

she hopes to right the wrong  
with the saddest song  
a lover’s lullaby  
singing herself to sleep  
tears in a cappella  
dreams that tame the pain

Seeing not what’s there  
 
Acolytes sought…bought  
Respect through monies exchanged;  
Like hand to hand sales  
 
Essence of art…lost,  
Sold to the highest bidder;  
Tossed aside like trash  
 
Bloodsuckers sucking  
Life’s blood from poetic flows;

the deep end of sleepUnderneath the passion and the waves of despair, the smile of a diety with a thousand yard stare, carelessness, theft, frost covered willows that wept  A silent lucidity, transposed into cleffs,  
violent, molecular fluidity, interstellar grace bestowed from here to infinity  Coarse hands, smooth sands  contrast the bomb blast at long last standing man  
to die in mid breath, given all that is left  pointless and poignant, brilliant and buoyant,  the water evaporates, my legacy saturates an entire galaxy, misconstrued, sky-blued  tucked away fallacy.  Joke with me, drown this emotion like an infant the deep end of sleep

the wishing wellif you find the dust in your bones  
and let this grainy wisdom pour out  
sifting through your hands  
you will find a single shiny coin  
 
it was there before you were there  
so that you could reach the stars  
without the lengthy trip  
 
so leave your bags unpacked  
and find the nearest well  
make your wish  
and toss the coin

i was a human punching bag

yeah i know i pulled a houdini on you guys for the past 8 months or so...and i deeply apologize for it...for you see, i was in a situation that i thought i had no control of at the time....


i was in love with someone that used to beat me damn near everyday of my relationship. it got to the point where i was always looking over my shoulder to make sure i wasn't going to get caught off guard by a fist of a foot to the face. it's a cruel thing to do...blackening a womans eye in the name of "love and demanding respect" from her. that's right folks, he claims he wouldn't have to beat me if i would give him the respect he deserves as a man...

so what made me leave? when i almost slit my wrists because i was that brainwashed about my self worth...i looked up and saw my daughter's picture and realized by killing myself i would leave her and orphan...she was already fatherless...never knew her father due to the fact that he died four days before her first birthday...i couldn't do that to her...especially when i myself almost died giving birth to her.

there are a few people worth dying for, and he wasn't one of them....so the final time he hit me i took the liberty of standing my ground with a hot iron and pulling a tiger woods on that ass!

love is many things...but the one thing it is NOT supposed to be is deadly.


so to all my friends out there...if you're in a similar scenario as me...GET OUT OF IT....find help...there is always a way out of it! please.....okay?
